Big Sticks Golf Academy is a 7,500 square foot state-of-the-art indoor practice facility in Woburn, Massachusetts, which offers something for every golfer. Whether you're a novice golfer needing lessons to get started, a recreational player wanting to try Pebble Beach, or an avid player wanting to practice year round, BSGA is a complete golf facility. With our 9 hitting bays, chipping and putting areas, simulators, video analysis equipment, BSGA is a fun low-pressure and inexpensive way to learn the game and practice golf year round. STAFF
Terry Felty, the owner and director of instruction of BSGA, has been a PGA class A golf professional since 1998. For the past few years, Terry was a head professional in Maryland and more recently a golf instructor at Cyprian Keyes Golf School in Boylston, Massachusetts. During his golf career, he has averaged over 300 private lessons annually and has extensive teaching experience. Terry has taught numerous clinics, group instruction and specialized lessons, with the scope of students being beginners to the advanced player. We offer many beginner clinics throughout the year, which are a great way to get started with the game of golf. Video lessons are also available for more specialized teaching.
At BSGA, our PGA golf professionals teach with a balance of feel and video analysis technology to help players produce a better swing. BSGA has both the ASTAR swing system and the Achiever launch monitor to help track your progress and improve your swing.
DIRECTIONS
BTake 128/I-95 to Exit 33A "Route 3 South - Winchester"
Go less than 1/2 mile on Route 3 South (Cambridge Street).
Cafe Escadrille will be on your left. Right after Café Escadrille and before Bickfords Restaurant is Ray Ave. We are on the right, the parking and entrance are located in the back of the building.
From points South between Winchester and Boston: Simply take Route 3 North from Arlington Center through Winchester to Burlington. Just past the Burlington town line (and 1/2 mile before Route 128),on the right there will be RAY AVENUE which is in between Café Escadrille and Bickfords Restaurant. We are on the right, parking and entrance are located in the back of the building.
LESSON & CLINIC INFO
We offer several weekly clinics or group instruction through out the year, usually consisting of 4 week 1.5 hours of group instruction. These clinics are geared for specific groups such as beginners, juniors, and intermediate and advanced. Group clinics are a great value for anyone interested in golf. Please call for more rates and dates because they do vary through out the year.
